It took a team to bring back a classic '80s motorized truck in a way that could get attention in today's market. The main feature of the truck is in the wheels. Whenever The Animal encounters resistance in the terrain, claws emerge from the tires to help push it over and our engineering team explored several clever directions in achieving that. My role was to design and build everything above the chassis including the aesthetics and personality. And while cost reductions meant some of our features had to be dropped, the resulting product was still fantastic. To top it off, Spin Master created an incredibly unique and immersive unboxing experience.
